It was a typical day at the post office when a package addressed to a local resident, Sarah, caught the attention of the postal worker. The package was large, heavy, and had no return address. The postal worker decided to inspect the package before delivering it to Sarah, and what he found inside was shocking.

The detective decided to open the package with Sarah present. Inside the box, they found nothing but a small note that read “Congratulations! You have won a mystery prize worth thousands of dollars. To claim your prize, please send us your personal information and $500 as a processing fee.”
Detective James immediately knew that it was a scam. He advised Sarah not to send any money or personal information to the sender. He also warned her to be more cautious in the future when giving her personal information online.
The detective began to investigate the case, but he knew that the scammers were probably long gone and operating under different identities. They discussed all the possibilities and scenarios they could think of, but none of them seemed like a good option. Finally, one of the women spoke up. “What about the FBI?” she suggested.
“We can’t contact the FBI,” someone else said.
“I’m sure they’d appreciate hearing about this,” another woman said. “They might catch the criminals involved.”
Several hours passed and the FBI agents arrived at the bank. They asked for permission to examine the contents of the envelope and soon discovered that they were dealing with a major international conspiracy involving drug traffickers and terrorists. The entire plot was revealed after the investigators examined the envelope’s contents.
Detective Smith was called to a crime scene near the airport. An anonymous caller told him that the body of a man had been found in a parking lot close to the runway. When he arrived, the detective immediately sensed something fishy going on. Police cars surrounded the area, and uniformed officers were swarming everywhere.
As the detective examined the dead man, he noticed something odd. The corpse appeared to have been run over by a car – perhaps a truck? The detective looked closer at the deceased and noticed that something had happened just before his death: His eyes had been gouged out and his face was burned, presumably by acid.
Smith was puzzled but continued to look around for clues as to what exactly had led to the murder. He spotted a red liquid leaking from a nearby van, and a bottle filled with it nearby. Then he noticed that the body of the deceased bore markings suggesting that he was a member of the mafia.
He then noticed that his hands were bound together with zip ties, which was unusual in itself as most mobsters prefer using their own leather ties.
He called over a police officer and asked him for an opinion on what had happened.
“This is strange,” said the cop. “I’ve never seen a man get his eyes gouged out, then his hands tied up before being shot in the head. That sounds like a mob hit.”
The detective agreed with the policeman and realized that he needed to make a phone call. It was time to ask for the FBI’s help.
FBI Agent Thomas McBride was called to a crime scene along with four other agents. They all met with Detective Smith who explained what they were looking for. The FBI was there to examine the evidence as well as take pictures and collect DNA samples from the crime scene. The detectives also brought over the dead man’s belongings, which included his driver’s license and wallet.
As the agents studied the dead man, they found something strange about his appearance. One of the men noticed that there were scars above both of his eyes that seemed to indicate that the victim had undergone plastic surgery to change his appearance. A few minutes later, they heard an explosion and saw a fireball rising from a nearby construction site, followed by a series of gunshots.
Agent McBride called the police station and informed them that they were about to experience a terrorist attack. He was right: There had been a bomb planted near the construction zone, and it exploded soon after detonating, bringing down the building and killing several bystanders.
After receiving confirmation of the death toll, FBI Special Agents began working with the local authorities to identify those responsibly. The agents worked through all possible scenarios until one of them came to mind.
Someone had tried to disguise themselves as a mobster, so they could plant a bomb in a high-security area close to the airport where no one would notice them. They had hoped to cause massive destruction that would bring fear into the hearts of millions. Instead, the bombing had killed several bystanders and left a trail of chaos in its wake.
