The sun was setting on the beach. The waves were like a wall of liquid gold, rippling out in front of the long, curving stretch of sand and then washing back to shore. The light made the sand glow like polished ivory.
“Oh, this is so pretty,” said Olivia. She sat in the sand with her legs stretched out before her, watching the water as it rolled up the beach, like a giant wave that would soon crash down on top of her.
She felt herself relax for the first time since she’d woken up at the beach house, lying there in the dark, alone. Now that she knew she wasn’t going to die, she could let go of the fear that had been gripping her since she woke up. The terror was still there, but she no longer needed to be afraid of it. She was safe. She was free.
The wind whipped through her hair, sending it flying around her face. It felt wonderful. She felt the tears come to her eyes and she smiled, feeling the warmth spread across her cheeks. She lifted her hand to wipe them away but then thought better of it. This was a moment she wanted to remember forever.
“I love you,” she whispered. “Thank you.”
She turned to look at the house behind her. The sun had set, and the darkness was so thick that she couldn’t see it anymore. She sighed. She was ready to go home now.
The door opened and she looked up. Her mother stood in the doorway, holding a tray of drinks.
“Hello, Olivia,” she said. “You must be tired after all that running. Come inside and rest.”
Olivia took the tray from her and followed her inside.
“Mom?”
“Yes, honey?”
“Is Dad okay?”
“He’s fine, dear. He’s just resting.”
“Did he find out who did this to him?”
“No. But I think we’re close. I can feel it. We’ll get our justice, Olivia. Don’t worry about it.”
“But—”
“It’s not your job to worry about things like that,” she said firmly. “It’s mine. You just have to trust me.”
She smiled and handed her a drink. “Here. Have some tea. It’s really good. My favorite.”
Olivia nodded and sipped at the hot liquid. It tasted delicious.
“Is Dad going to be okay?” she asked again.
“Oh, yes. I promise you. We’ll make sure he gets all the help he needs. Your father is a strong man. He’s been through a lot, but he’s tough. He’ll come through this.”
“How long will it take?”
“It depends on how serious his injuries are. But the doctors say that he should recover fully.”
“That’s good,” said Olivia. “I’m glad. Thank you for looking after him.”
“Don’t thank me, dear. You need to be more grateful. Now, if you’re tired, why don’t you go upstairs and rest? I’ll wake you when it’s time for dinner.”
Olivia nodded and carried the tray back outside.
“Thank you, Mom,” she said. “I love you.”
“I love you, too, Olivia. Remember that.”
She went back inside and left the house. She was ready to go home now.

When she got back to the beach house, she found that someone had lit all of the candles around the room. The air smelled sweet and spicy. She smiled at the sight.
“Hey, beautiful,” said Alex. “Welcome home.”
She walked over and took his hand.
“Thank you, Alex,” she said. “This is so nice.”
“I’m glad you like it. I thought you might want to spend some time here, after everything. You can stay as long as you’d like.”
“Oh, no,” said Olivia. “We’re leaving tomorrow. We need to get back to the city.”
Alex sighed. “Yeah. Well, I guess we’ll have to leave then. If you change your mind, just call.”
“Okay,” said Olivia. “Thanks.”
They kissed again, and Olivia felt the tension in her body start to ease. Alex’s touch was soothing, and his scent calmed her.
“You’re so good to me,” she whispered.
“I know. That’s why I’m doing it.”
Olivia smiled and pulled him close. She kissed him with all of the passion she could muster. It was unbelievable how much she loved this man. He was everything she’d ever wanted in a partner. She’d never even known such a thing was possible until she met him.
He pressed himself against her and ran his hands down her back. She could feel the hard bulge in his pants pressing into her rear.
“I love you,” he whispered. “Please tell me you love me too.”
Olivia didn’t answer right away. She looked up at him and saw the desperation in his eyes.
“Yes, Alex,” she said. “I love you. I always will.”
He smiled. “Good. Now, come on. Let’s get you out of those clothes.”
He pulled her off the bed and pushed her toward the bathroom. She stood there and watched as he undressed. His movements were smooth and sensual, and she found herself admiring him.
“I’ve never seen anything so beautiful,” he said. “Your body is exquisite. You’re so perfect.”
“It’s all yours,” she replied. “And you can have it whenever you want.”
She reached behind her and undid the clasp on her bra. She slid it down and let it fall to the floor. Her breasts were firm and round. They tumbled out of their confinement. Alex’s mouth dropped open.
“Oh, my God,” he breathed. “You’re so gorgeous.”
Olivia turned around and showed him her ass. The black thong barely covered her cheeks. It had a string that hung between them, and she could feel the soft material sliding back and forth against her skin.
“Can I take these off?” she asked.
“Of course,” said Alex.
Olivia bent over and took the panties in her hand. She pulled them down, slowly revealing her naked pussy. Alex gasped when he saw it.
“My God,” he said. “That’s beautiful.”
“So are you,” she said.
Alex pulled her back and pushed her toward the shower. He stepped in after her and ran his hands through her hair.
“You’re so sweet,” he said. “I don’t deserve you.”
Olivia kissed him, and they moved together under the spray of warm water. She wrapped her arms around him and held him tight.
“Why do you say that?” she asked. “I’m not sure I understand.”
“You know why,” he said. “Because I’m just an ordinary guy. I’m no good for you. You should be with someone who can give you a life like the one you have now.”
“What life?” said Olivia. “I’m poor. We’re always broke. I haven’t had a vacation in years. And we don’t even have a house to live in. How is this a life? This is the life I want. It’s better than anything I ever dreamed of having.
Even if it wasn’t, I’d still choose to be with you. You’re the only man I’ve ever been happy with. You’re the only person I’ve ever really trusted. You’re the only person I ever wanted to trust me back.”
Alex was silent for a moment.
“I can’t believe you,” he said. “You make me feel like I’m worth something. I thought I was worthless.”
“You’re not worthless,” she said. “You’re perfect. You’re the best thing that ever happened to me.”
He reached down and grabbed her hand. He pulled her up into his arms and kissed her.
“I love you,” he whispered.
Olivia smiled and leaned her head against his chest. She felt the hard bulge in his pants pressing against her rear. She could feel it sliding back and forth.
“Do you mind?” he asked. “I’d really like to feel you against me.”
“Not at all,” she replied.
Alex slid her panties off, and she stood there naked before him. He took a step back and admired her body. Her breasts were firm and round. They jutted out proudly from her chest. They were surrounded by small, pink nipples. The skin on her belly was smooth and pale. It contrasted beautifully with the dark hair between her legs.
His eyes traveled down her body, taking in every inch of her. Then, he looked up at her face. He couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Come here,” he said.
Olivia walked over to him and fell into his arms. He pushed her back and pressed her against the wall. His mouth came down on hers, and he kissed her as passionately as he’d ever kissed anyone.
“I love you so much,” he said.
“So do I,” she replied.
Alex’s hands moved across her body, caressing her breasts and running through the thick strands of her hair. Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. She pressed her body against his, and they kissed again.
They broke apart and stared into each other’s eyes.
“Are you sure about this?” asked Alex.
“Yes,” said Olivia. “I’m absolutely certain. I want to be with you. I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life.”
“Me too,” he said. “I don’t know what it is about you, but I just can’t get enough of you.”
Olivia smiled and kissed him again.
“I think we should take a shower together,” she said.
“Oh, yes,” said Alex. “That sounds great.”
The water washed over them, washing away the sweat and grime of their day. It washed away all the cares and worries of the world, leaving only the two of them behind.

Olivia woke up the next morning with a smile on her face. She stretched out and looked over at Alex. He was still sleeping. He looked so peaceful and happy.
She got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. She ran a warm bath and stepped inside. She leaned against the edge and closed her eyes.
Alex woke up and saw Olivia sitting in the tub. He walked over and sat beside her. He took her hand and kissed her palm.
“You’re so beautiful,” he said.
Olivia smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder. She felt him squeeze her hand.
“I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you too,” he replied.
“What time is it?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” said Alex. “It’s still dark outside.”
“We have to go home today,” she said. “I can’t stay here forever.”
“Yeah,” said Alex. “I guess we do.”
Olivia looked up at him and smiled.
“I can’t believe it,” she said. “Just yesterday I was feeling so low. Now, everything seems perfect. It’s like my whole life has been leading to this moment. I’m happier than I’ve ever been. Everything is going exactly the way it should.”
“Me too,” he replied. “I feel like I can breathe again. You’re the only person who makes me feel alive. You make me want to be better than I am. I’ll do anything for you, Olivia. I’d give up my whole life if that’s what you wanted.”
Olivia turned her head and kissed him.
“I wish we could stay here forever,” she said.
“You’re so beautiful,” said Alex.
Olivia smiled and leaned her head against his shoulder. She felt his hands caressing her body, moving from her shoulders down to her breasts. She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
“I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you too,” he replied.
Olivia reached down between their bodies and grabbed Alex’s cock. She squeezed it gently and rubbed it back and forth through the water.
“Are you sure about this?” asked Alex. “We don’t have to if you’re not ready.”
“I want to,” she said. “I just need a little more time.”
Alex smiled and kissed her forehead. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close. They stared into each other’s eyes and moved their hands across each other’s bodies.
“I think we should get out of the tub,” said Olivia.
They got out and dried off. Then, they walked back to the bedroom. Alex lay down on the bed, and Olivia climbed in beside him.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” said Alex. “I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve never done this before.”
“You’re going to be wonderful,” said Olivia. “I don’t care how many times we try. We’ll figure it out together.”
Alex looked up at her and smiled.
“That’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever said to me,” he said. “I love you, Olivia.”
She smiled and kissed him again.
“So do I,” she replied. “I love you so much.”
Alex’s hands caressed her body. His fingers ran across her skin, touching every inch of her body. He felt the smoothness of her flesh under his fingertips, and he marveled at how perfect she was.
